A leading group in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire for its Chemical Division:

Job Description:
• Manages a bulk liquid chemical terminal and maintains its operational capability at the optimum.
• Ensures that the Terminal meets all government regulations and deals on a regular basis with local authorities.
• Is responsible for the preventative maintenance of the whole Terminal facilities and equipments. In addition, the candidate will have to train his team on safety and security procedures.
• Ensures that all the assigned tank trucks for Chemical transportation are inspected prior to loading as per Terminal Operation Guidance.
• Is highly concerned and dedicated to the overall safety and security of the operations in order to prevent any risk while any task is undertaken. The BTM will ensure procedures are implemented and will also propose any improvement should it it be necessary.
• Manages bids for equipment in order to ensure that the quality of products will meet client’s requirements.
• Reports on a daily basis to his management as per the overall activities and the stock level.
Qualifications:
• Has an average 10 years of experience with 3 to 5 years in a supervisory position in a Terminal Infrastructure.
• Excellent knowhow on handling chemical products and related risks.
• Holds a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Emphasis is on relevant experience.
• Superior communication skills: Fluency in English (both written and verbal). Arabic is a major plus. The candidate should be an excellent communicator with a high degree of common sense.
• Excellent managerial skills: The candidate should have a previous leadership experience and the ability to deal with stressful situations where mistakes are simply not thinkable. Emphasis is on sound organizational skills in order to manage a diversified technical workforce for optimal efficiency.
• Very strong emphasis on safety/security management during all download/upload operations, cleaning, maintenance and any related task – as chemical materials require an extreme attention.
