Nationality: Any
Competence:
University or college education to a degree level or equivalent and
A Minimum 5 years experience in design of storage tanks, pressure Vessels, Process Columns, Chemical Reactors and general fabrication work.
Alternatively-
A minimum of 10 years experience in design of storage tanks,
Pressure vessels and general fabrication work.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all technical aspects of an assigned contract and reviews sub-contract Submittals for its technical accuracy.
· Incorporates the design with proper weld size, joint configuration, weld procedure Specification and NDE for any joint that not covered in the weld standards, drafting manuals and standards, or Auto CAD libraries.
· Ensure that all design are prepared in a timely manner and in compliance with all Applicable codes (ASME), standards (API, ANSI, UBC, etc) regulations, specification and contract requirements.
· Shall works closely with Drafting to properly convey design information and to resolve technical queries with the client.
· Assists with the development and maintenance of standards, computer programming, design procedures and training.
· Participates in meeting with other department and/or customers for planning purposes or to resolve any non-conformance or other related problems.
· Ensures that all design and details incorporate safe procedures.

Must have more than 15 years experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical,
Petroleum Refining or Power generation industry.
Minimum 5 years in HSE lead position.
Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of
packages.
Must have a diploma or equivalent in HSE & Safety Management.
Must be capable of managing and executing HSE audits, site, procedures and HSE Plan.
Must be capable of producing the relevant HSE related procedures and guidelines and
to actively pursue all staff to adhere to the defined HSE Standards.
Must be capable of training the staff in relevant HSE topics, as a minimum relative to
HSE Induction, Working at Height, Scaffolding, Confined Space, Road Driving and Basic
Fire Fighting and Turnaround.
Must be capable of obtaining, interpreting and reporting HSE statistics.
Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 7 Equivalent) and should be able
to communicate with the majority manpower in their language.
Able to support in the development of JSA/JHS of engineering tasks as required.
Able to support Tripod incident investigations.
Salary : QAR 15k per month (approx US$4200 per month) Tax free Plus Family Status, Car……etc

The KPIZ development covers an area of 60km2 and consists of a manmade port island located 4.6km offshore, which is linked via causeways and bridges to an onshore port and a mega-scale industrial zone. Bechtel is undertaking the role of Program Management Consultant for the project which is scheduled for completion in late 2012

Provides technical expertise and assistance to management personnel to establish health and safety (H&S) training and development program requirements. Develops, coordinates, implements, and administers authorized H&S training and development programs for the KPIZ project. Reports to the ADPC/PMC KPIZ WPH&S Manager.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
1. Determines, with the assistance of management personnel, the H&S training and development program requirements to comply with management and/or client directives.
2. Prepares an initial budget estimate for H&S training and development and submits it to the WPH&S Manager.
3. Develops or obtains H&S training manuals, instructional aids and materials as required.
4. Conducts or supervises H&S training courses and programs. Arranges for technical assistance as required.
5. Administers and monitors all project H&S training and development programs to ensure goals are attained, schedules are met, modifications are made as necessary and reporting requirements are observed.
6. Ensures that a comprehensive training records system is established and maintained.
7. Other duties as the Project WPH&S Manager directs.
Other Remarks/Qualificati ons
Ability to read, speak and write English is required but the ability to also speak, read and write any of the following languages: Hindi, Urdu and/or Greek is highly desirable.
The ability to swim is required.
Marine experience is preferred.
The ability to easily obtain a UAE vehicle operator’s permit for manual light vehicles is required.
