Creative Web Designer/Illustrator

We are looking for experienced web designer/artist in the game, advertising or entertainment or Software industry with exposure to designing User Interfaces and complete designs schemes of games and websites and owns portfolio of excellent and interactive designs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Liaising closely with a Project Manager at the design stage, understanding requirements and designing complete schemes of applications from Home page layout to inner pages.
• Producing a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required.
• Can write web pages in a combination of codes, such as HTML and XHTML, CSS, Javascript using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver.
• Can decide how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web.

Qualification:

• At least 1 year experience in web designing.

Should have a knowledge of:

• Web 2.0
• Should have command and working experience in either Adobe Photoshop OR Illustrator.
• HTML Div/ Table Based
• Java Script
• Can work within code
• Can conceptualize/visualize and present with help of sketching
• Flash Designing skills / command over Illustrator ( would be a plus point)

Lead Designer

We are looking for a Lead Designer to manage a small group of designers and developers towards a specific design vision. If you think you have what it takes apply!

Responsibilities:

• Direct designers and work in partnership with Producers and studio leaders to drive creative design elements of various game titles.
• Create and lead design documentation for key games
• Balance game mechanics and economy of game
• Work with Artists and UI Designers to craft elegant and intuitive visual design on game pages
• Drive and creatively manage design on new studio IP
• Enhance story of games with narrative elements through creative writing centered on story and character development
• Work with Level Designers on building levels with games involving 3D missions

Qualifications:

• Avid gamer: interested in games across all genres and actively playing current titles to completion
• Strong passion for designing social games
• Understanding of spatial relationships in games and solid understanding of supporting mechanics, such as AI and gameplay
• Team leader: able to lead design meetings and articulate game vision on a daily basis
• Able to design within technical limitations and other constraints
• 2+ years of experience as a video game designer, with a strong understanding of design tools, map editors and design techniques.
• Accredited with the design of 5+ shipped titles
• Self-starter; able to run with the responsibilities and drive them to timely completion
• Effective at collaborating with other team members, designers, engineers and artists
• Excellent organizational skills (goal setting, working towards milestones)

Responsibilities
· To plan and follow actions in his sector through the project for contractual requirements, time schedule, budget, design, progress, quality, commissioning and the handing over.
· To establish procedures in his sector with coordination among the client, consultants and subcontractors.
· To coordinate and provide general direction of the work and progress of the contractors.
· To follow the main schedule and prepare detailed time schedules, make updating, in connection with the other section managers, contractors and the client.
· To highlight the economical constructing and cost saving working procedures.
· To create and maintain good human relations at site.
· To arrange inspection of received material and goods at site.
· To review all invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.
· To make recommendations for changes in his sector if found necessary and maintain records of change orders, make notes and claims.
· To participate in weekly site meetings.
· To assure that materials and installations will be in accordance with the design, drawings, specifications and the contract, and to inspect the works for the final completion and acceptance by the client.
· To highlight and observe the quality control at site.
· To advise and support the client in planning, organizing and execution of tests.
· To highlight the environmental protection and spill prevention plan at site, make sure that oil, paints and chemicals, etc. are properly transported, protected and handled.
· To plan and organize safe inspections and test procedures, instruct and advise the supervisors and subcontractor to use accepted test and inspection methods and proper test equipment.
· To ensure and coordinate that all preparations and safety precautions are made for safe tests.
· To make sure that items in the punch list are minimized.
