Our Company is currently searching for a SQL server Database Administrator with extensive knowledge of SQL 2000/2005. The role will involve a mix of administration and development concentrating on SQL server clustering and configuration, backup and recovery, performance tuning and monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have a strong experience with SQL server 2005 and must have a strong track record in MS SQL server database administration in large production technologies.
Skill Set:
MS SQL Server 2000/ 2005, with an interest in SQL 2008.
SQL replication and experience of clustering technologies.
T-SQL
Performance tuning and query optimization.
Database Design.
Ideally MCDBA/ MCITP/ MCTS.
