Spam/Customer Support

Job Description:

If you're analytical, proactive, determined and can bust spam with gusto, we'd like to speak to you! Allainet Support needs dedicated individuals to help with spam. We need disciplined, motivated, goal-oriented individuals who get satisfaction from getting things done.
You'll be responsible for reducing a high volume of email requests in an efficient and timely manner, and communicating frequently about new and known issues with a team of fellow enthusiasts. Comfort with and enjoyment of electronic communications is essential, experience in spam/abuse is preferred but not required. We're a passionate team of intensely motivated individuals, seeking the same to join us.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clear, friendly communication with Allainet users
  • Open, thorough and timely communication with teams
  • Work closely with spam team lead to resolve user issues
  • Resolution of issues in a quick and efficient manner
  • Researching, reproducing filing and tracking issues
  • Identify and observe trending spam types and help develop strategies
  • Communicate rules/violations to users clearly and objectively in a professional manner

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and written skills
  • Comfort with modes of electronic communication (chat, video, Skype etc.)
  • Strong computer skills; detail oriented, organized and efficient
  • Strong interest in technology/knowledge of the Internet industry
  • Previous experience with customer support
  • Patience, determination, and grit
  • Excellent Online Research capability
  • Ability to Speak multiple languages like French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, etc is a plus
  • Familiarity with Trac and Campfire would be considered a bonus
  • Experience in abuse/spam management is a plus again
